ABOUT

As writer Leo Tolstoy once said,

“EVERYONE THINKS OF CHANGING THE WORLD, BUT NO ONE THINKS OF CHANGING HIMSELF."

The Daily Cognition tackles the latter half of this quote by introducing small ways we can change our everyday behaviors to greatly improve our lives as a whole.

Using current research in psychology, this podcast will inform, teach, and raise awareness about facets of our interpersonal relationships. Episode 1 will first examine how behaviors are taught in childhood, teaching parents to effectively utilize discipline tactics to suit their situation. Then, Episode 2 will analyze the consequences of one of our innate behavior patterns, binary thinking.

After listening to this series, we hope our audience gains a greater understanding of these concepts in behavioral psychology. Even if “changing the world” isn’t the ultimate goal, this knowledge can pave the way for a better quality of life.

"The Daily Cognition is uplifting, academic and mind-expanding at the same time."
